As Kadın-Der, we reject any form of discrimination that may arise through age, ethnicity, race, language, political views, or religious beliefs that hinder a peaceful life and advocate for gender equality.
In order to eliminate violence against women, we believe that raising awareness throughout society that violence is unacceptable and that women who are subjected to violence can seek support are important steps in combating violence. We place great importance on working together with all sectors of society to combat violence against women.
We believe that good collaboration between institutions is of vital importance in ensuring the safety of women and in the fight against violence against women. Therefore, we strive to work together with local and national actors.
While carrying out our activities, we do not limit ourselves to just a help-based approach, but also adopt a rights-based approach.
We try to use our resources in line with the objectives stated in our bylaws and make efforts to develop activity plans that support women's personal development.
Our association consists of members and volunteers from various disciplines and professions. To prevent any kind of discrimination and inequality, we place special emphasis on supporting a horizontal organizational structure.
